This digital sketch of a coatimundi from the Reno Zoo is my submission for Paint Out #10 on the Wet Canvas! Open Critique Forum. The reference photo comes from Paint Out host Texas artist Bob Cook.

Marianne, you have captured the look of a pizote (coatimundi) perfectly. They're quite common here, and I sent ya a EMail of some ones I saw recently. And..you have an award waiting...the coffee's on.
Hi Marianne - I followed you here ( and then to Wet Canvas) from eBay. What a nice alternative! I love your art ... boy, you've really captured the inner energy of this little guy. My computer desk overlooks a birdfeeder just like the one in your post. Right now there's a squirrel sitting in the tree above it taunting my greyhounds (in freeze frame below) with his chatter. doggeroo
James I'm thrilled by the award! Been thinking about the 7 other artists for 3 days. I promise to decide soon. Welcome DEB and doggeroo. Thank you all for your kind comments.

ReplyDeleteGreat art! I haven't spent much time on Wet Canvas, but it looks like they have fun challenges!
